For safety reasons, we do not take bookings for short notice driving test appointments.We need to make an assessment of your driving standard first. We suggest you request a "Driving Test Ready" session instead.Thank you for your understanding.
This is for hiring the car for your DVSA driving test. We allow three hours which should cover most eventualities. You can pay for extra time if you prefer.
The cost of a driving test does not include the use of a vehicle. It covers only the Driving Examiner’s time to assess your driving ability.
Pre-test, we will meet you and will determine a route for you to drive to your nominated test centre. There can be parking restrictions and rules about timings that are imposed by the DVSA on candidates’ cars. We have local knowledge of these and will manage them for you.
Should we find that your driving is unsafe, we will refuse use of our car for this appointment. This is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions.
You will meet the examiner in the waiting room where ID checks will be made. The examiner will conduct the practical test, taking about 40 minutes.
You will be expected to drive confidently and safely in varying road and traffic conditions. The way you drive should be in accordance with the Highway Code. This will be the way that your instructor has taught you, no different.
Providing you can do this; you can expect to pass.
At the end of the test, whether it is a pass or fail, there will be some paperwork to complete. After this, your instructor will drive you back home or agreed drop-off point. You will not drive after the test.
Our driving school delivers practical lessons mainly in the East London Boroughs of Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering. Our lesson times are weekdays between 8am and 7pm, Saturday mornings 8am until 1pm. We also run lessons on occasional Sundays.
